i can only make small steps with the back and forward buttons. my idea is to make big steps between the visited domains.

when i follow a link of a website that leads me to a new domain and i follow some more links there i'd have to push x-times the back button if i want to go back to the page that lead me out ... my idea is a "big step back" button which skips all sites between the domain change and brings me back to the last page of the previous domain.

sorry for the bad english =(

Perhaps whenever you right click on the Back button (or press the small arrow down icon), it will have an item "Jump to previous website" in the bottom/top of the list?

you are right, i didn't know the right button thing. but instead of browsing the list a new button would make it easier. its like skipping the tracks of a cd. in the list you can clearly see the break of the "domain" change. wouldnt be much work to implement such a button.

Hi ! The Easy Gesture add-on provides this feature : there is a buttton for "previous website" who gives that you are looking for, if a Google result takes me to Wikipedia, and I read some articles in the encyclopedia, one click on this button bring me back to Google

The analogy with the cd traks is very good, because the functionality would be easy to understand. The Easy-Gesture previous site button (see ateasygestures.mozdev.org/img/backSite.gif ) is a good example : you guess the use, and remember it easily.
